Geranium Bronze Cacyreus marshalli

A very pretty species, unknown in the British Isles until the last few years. It is apparent that this butterfly has been introduced on imported Geranium plants, most probably from Spain. It is unlikely that this species will overwinter here. But it is possible for them to maybe produce 2 broods during our summer months if introduced early in the season.

There are NO KNOWN British examples of aberrations or forms.
